Youth Involvement

We appreciate all of our volunteers and do our best to make sure everyone has a fantastic build day. Part of having a great build day is safety. Due to the hazards of construction work, there are some limitations on what volunteers under 18 may do. All volunteers under 18 must have a Parental authorization to be able to work on construction site as well as be accompanied by an adult over 18 to volunteer. 16-18 year olds can only work on construction site if there are no power tools being utilized on that volunteer day.

Youth can get also get involved with fundraising, serving on a committee, setting up a Habitat Student Chapter with their school(to learn more about Habitat Student Chapters please visit LINK), educate the community about Habitat by attending community events, ReStore donation drives with individuals and groups, and many more fun activities to help with each youth receiving Community Service hours that count toward any GPA/College requirements.
